As mentioned in the section about Classroom Rules and Policies, plagiarism is serious offense that all too many students accidentally commit. In college, your professors will unlikely warn you about plagiarism. The consequences of plagiarizing can result in a failing grade both on the assignment and in the course. Properly citing is the easiest way to avoid plagiarism. The following links will direct you to free online citation websites. These generators or "citation machines", allow you to plug-in information about the resources you are using as research for your essays. In our class we will be using MLA format on all essays.
Make Online Flashcards
Quizlet is an online tool that allows you to make digital flashcards. In order to use the Quizlet tool, you must sign up for a free account. Signing up for an account is useful because it allows your to store the flashcards you make for future use.
